Andy Shamblin, a candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates, announced on his social media account that he has received several endorsements from prominent state organizations in April 2026.

On April 14, Shamblin shared news of an endorsement from the West Virginia Farm Bureau. In his post, he stated: ” ENDORSEMENT ALERT Proud to be endorsed by the West Virginia Farm Bureau — a strong voice for our farmers, landowners, and rural communities. I’ll keep fighting for agriculture, property rights, and the values that make West Virginia strong. Vote Shamblin for House”.

The following day, on April 15, Shamblin posted about another endorsement: “ENDORSEMENT ALERT Proud to be endorsed by the West Virginia State Troopers Association. When those who protect us every day trust your leadership—you stand with them. And I always will. “.

On April 16, Shamblin announced support from Education West Virginia. He wrote: “Honored to be endorsed by Education West Virginia. As a first-generation college graduate and high school teacher, I know the impact public education can have. Grateful for the support of fellow educators as I seek re-election.”

Endorsements from organizations such as the West Virginia Farm Bureau often reflect a candidate’s alignment with agricultural interests in the state and are considered significant in local elections. Similarly, backing from groups like the State Troopers Association signals support from law enforcement professionals. Support from education-focused organizations may highlight a candidate’s experience or policy positions related to public schools and higher education.

Shamblin is running for re-election to continue representing his district in the West Virginia House of Delegates.
