U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) has extended her congratulations to Keith Richmond, who was recently appointed as the Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director for West Virginia. The appointment was announced by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins.
In a statement, Senator Capito said, “Keith’s understanding of our state’s agricultural landscape, coupled with his dedication to supporting our farming communities, will serve West Virginia well. I look forward to working with him in this new role to ensure our farmers and producers have the resources they need to succeed.”
The FSA State Executive Directors are responsible for carrying out the President’s America First agenda and managing the United States Department of Agriculture’s policies through state offices. Their duties include planning, organizing, and administering FSA programs across each state.
