Carol Miller highlights community visits and Ash Wednesday observance

U.S. Representative Carol Miller, who represents West Virginia’s 1st district in Congress, recently shared updates on her social media account highlighting community engagement and observances. On February 18, 2026, Miller posted a message marking the start of Lent: “Wishing you all a blessed Ash Wednesday as we begin this season of Lent!”

The following day, on February 19, 2026, Miller praised Marshall University’s Child Development Academy for its contributions to the local community and education sector. She wrote: “It was great to see the incredible work being done at Marshall University’s Child Development Academy. Not only do they provide excellent care to the children there, but they provide invaluable support to parents and hands-on experience to university students studying for a”

Later that same day, Miller thanked PTI Incorporated after touring its Point Pleasant facility and acknowledged its role in several key industries. She stated: “Thank you PTI Incorporated for the tour of your Point Pleasant facility. It was wonderful to see firsthand the work you do across our medical, electrical, and automotive industries.”

Carol Miller has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Evan Jenkins and previously held office in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1950 and currently residing in Huntington, Miller graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College in South Carolina in 1972.
