Rep. Carol Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing West Virginia’s 1st district and Co-Chair of the Congressional Friends of Indonesia Caucus, shared updates on recent legislative and diplomatic developments through her official Twitter account.
On July 15, 2025, Miller commented on a new international agreement: “The art of the deal! This historic agreement reached between the US and Indonesia will bolster American exports and strengthen the bilateral relationship between our two countries. As Co-Chair of the Congressional Friends of Indonesia Caucus, I am thrilled to keep building on”.
The following day, July 16, she highlighted a meeting with healthcare professionals: “I was glad to meet with dedicated members of the American Physical Therapy Association from West Virginia. Their work is essential to the health and well-being of our communities, and I’m happy to know that our patients are in good hands.”
Later that same day, Miller referenced newly enacted legislation: “This is life-saving legislation that will help keep our communities safe. I am glad to see it officially signed into law.”
Miller has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Evan Jenkins. Before her tenure in Washington, she represented her community in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1950 and currently residing in Huntington, Miller graduated from Columbia College in South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972.
