Rep. Carol Miller, who represents West Virginia’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently used her social media platform to highlight legislative priorities and local industry celebrations.

On February 11, 2026, Miller posted, “Protect Democracy. Pass the SAVE America Act.”

The following day, she shared her attendance at a White House event focused on coal industry workers: “It was wonderful to be at the White House this evening to celebrate our coal industry.

Our miners work tirelessly to keep our homes heated and ensure a reliable energy grid. Thank you, President Trump, for your commitment to our state and for always being a champion of coal!” (posted February 12, 2026).

Later that same day, Miller acknowledged the work of community health centers in West Virginia: “The @wvpca does incredible work helping our state’s community health centers provide crucial care for our state.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet with them all during their trip to DC and look forward to our continued work together.” (posted February 12, 2026).

Carol Miller has served as the U.S. Representative for West Virginia’s 1st District since replacing Evan Jenkins in 2019 and previously held office in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1950 and currently residing in Huntington, Miller is an alumna of Columbia College in South Carolina.
