On Saturday, March 14, the Charleston Golden Eagles, featuring former George Washington High School standout Ben Nicol, were defeated 83-58 by the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at Highmark Events Center at 5 p.m. and marked the team’s opening game against the Gannon Golden Knights in the tournament.
