The Charleston Golden Eagles, featuring former Herbert Hoover High School athlete Eli Robertson, were defeated 83-58 by the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

The opening-round contest, held at Highmark Events Center at 5 p.m., marked the teams’ first tournament meeting.
