Ciara Pinckney, a graduate of St. Albans High School in Kanawha County Schools, is returning to Charleston as Princess Jasmine in Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures. The production will hold six performances in Charleston from January 8 to 11.

Pinckney began skating at age seven after visiting a new local ice rink. She continued to train and compete for years before joining Feld Entertainment in 2017. Since then, she has performed in nearly 30 countries as part of Disney On Ice.

Reflecting on her career, Pinckney said, “From a local ice rink in Charleston to performing in nearly 30 countries, KCS alumni are showing the world what’s possible.”

She credits her hometown for shaping her path and notes that Charleston remains important to her despite her international travels. Her story highlights the achievements of Kanawha County Schools alumni who pursue their passions beyond their community.
