Governor Patrick Morrisey has appointed John K. Jordan to fill the vacancy in the 42nd District of the West Virginia House of Delegates, following the resignation of Brandon Steele.

Jordan has served as Lead Pastor at Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley since 1998. In this role, he and his wife Stephanie have led weekly sermons, managed ministries, and provided pastoral care and counseling. He oversees daily office operations, develops the church’s annual budget, and manages finances. Additionally, Jordan is Assistant Superintendent of the Appalachian Ministry Network and General Presbyter for the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Since 2000, he has also worked as Chaplain at Raleigh General Hospital, offering spiritual support to patients and their families.
