Governor Patrick Morrisey and First Lady Denise Morrisey have invited local families to the Governor’s Mansion in Charleston for complimentary photos with Santa Claus. The event will take place inside a life-sized gingerbread house on Friday, December 19, and Saturday, December 20, from noon to 4 p.m., as well as Sunday, December 21, from 3 to 5 p.m.

First Lady Morrisey said, “We’re thrilled to welcome West Virginia families into the Governor’s Mansion for photos with Santa. This is the perfect opportunity to capture the spirit of the season while enjoying some quality time with your loved ones. I can’t wait to see the excitement on children’s faces as they walk through our special gingerbread house.”

Guests attending on Friday are encouraged to use public parking. On Saturday and Sunday, visitors may use the Capitol Complex parking lot and garage. All attendees should enter through the north side gate of the Mansion.

Reservations are required for photos with Santa and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited availability. Families unable to attend this weekend can also reserve free holiday tours of both the Governor’s Mansion and West Virginia State Capitol.
