Governor Patrick Morrisey has released a statement regarding the retirement of Senator Donna Boley, who is stepping down after serving in the West Virginia Senate for over forty years. Senator Boley holds the distinction of being the longest-serving member in the history of the state senate.

“Today, we honor Senator Donna Boley as she retires after more than four decades of service, making her the longest-serving member of the West Virginia Senate in state history. Her dedication to the people of Senate District 3 is unparalleled.

“Senator Boley’s dedication to her constituents, her steady leadership, and commitment to public service have left a lasting mark on our state. Through the decades, she earned the trust of West Virginians and served with integrity,” Governor Morrisey said.
