Kanawha County Schools has announced the launch of a new mobile app aimed at improving communication and access to information for families, students, and staff. The app is designed to provide users with quick access to important details such as daily menus, school events, and real-time updates from their student’s school.

The app offers features like the ability to “favorite” specific schools for easier access and enables push notifications for timely alerts. To facilitate the launch, a text message was sent to all KCS families and staff with an active mobile number listed in WEVIS. This message included links to download the app from both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The KCS app is free and available for download now on Android and iPhone devices. Families are encouraged to explore the app’s features, select their preferred schools, and activate notifications to stay informed about important updates.
