Kanawha County Schools (KCS) has introduced the Zonar MyView app to enhance school bus communication for parents and guardians. The app allows real-time tracking of students’ buses, enabling users to see the bus location and receive updates directly on their phones or tablets.

The transportation office can send messages through the app, providing timely information. Users can also set custom zones to receive alerts when the bus reaches a specific distance from home.

The Zonar MyView app is available for download on Google Play and Apple App Store. To set up the app, users will need an access code (KAN46832022), the correct bus number (available at KCSBusStop.com), and the student’s WVEIS number, which is often used for student log-ins and listed on grade reports. For assistance with these details, parents can contact the Transportation Office at 304-348-6616 or their student’s school.

A user guide for the Zonar MyView app is available online for additional support: https://support.zonarsystems.net/hc/en-us/articles/360042500512-Zonar-MyView-Parent-User-Guide
