On Thursday, April 17, former Nitro High School standouts Kerigan Moore and Morgan Burdette’s current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.

The game took place at Culpepper Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Joni Smith Field against Davis & Elkins Senators.
