On Saturday, April 5, former Nitro High School standouts Kyle Gill and Sam Sheets’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Glenville State Pioneers.

The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 7:50 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Glenville State Pioneers.
