On Saturday, April 12, former Nitro High School standouts Kerigan Moore and Morgan Burdette’s current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Salem Tigers.

The game took place at Lady Jackets Field. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Culpepper Field against West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.
