On Sunday, April 13, former Nitro High School standout Andrew Scarberry’s current college team, the Bluefield State Big Blues, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Virginia State Trojans.
The game took place at Whaley Colbert Field. This was their third matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Big Blues’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at Bowen Field against West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.
