On Wednesday, March 26, former Herbert Hoover High School standout Sydney Shamblin’s current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Charleston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Lady Jackets Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Concord Softball Field against Concord Mountain Lions.
