Rep. Carol Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing West Virginia’s 1st district, recently posted a series of tweets addressing economic development in her state, international relations, and religious reflection.

On April 1, 2026, Miller highlighted new local job creation by stating, “Beaver’s new Amazon Delivery Station will create over 125 new jobs and will have ripple effects throughout the local economy. Investments of this size from large, reputable companies like @amazon are a testament to West Virginia’s workforce and a vote of confidence in our state.”

The following day, on April 2, she discussed her participation in diplomatic discussions: “Recently, I had the honor of joining the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the United States, Kang Kyung-wha, for a roundtable discussion on the importance of U.S.-Japan-Republic of Korea relations. I look forward to our continued work of building an economic future that”.

On April 3, Miller posted a message related to her faith: “May the finished work of Christ always remind us of the incomparable love of God. It is finished!”

Carol Miller has served as a member of Congress since replacing Evan Jenkins in 2019 and previously held office in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1950 and currently residing in Huntington at age 72, Miller graduated from Columbia College in South Carolina with a BA in 1972.
