Rep. Carol Miller, who represents West Virginia’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on her official social media account addressing recent national and international events.

On March 13, 2026, Miller expressed condolences for the loss of American service members: “I join with a grateful nation in mourning the six American service members onboard the KC-135 who tragically lost their lives during a refueling mission yesterday. These service members bravely answered our country’s call and gave the ultimate sacrifice. I am praying for their”.

Three days later, on March 16, 2026, she commented on an international trade development: “Thank you Ambassador Greer for signing the United States-Ecuador Agreement of Reciprocal Trade. This agreement will unlock strong agricultural and industrial markets in Ecuador and expand America’s competitiveness in South America! You can read the Joint Statement below. “.

Later that same day, Miller offered support to a senior White House official facing health challenges: “My thoughts are with White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles following her early stage breast cancer diagnosis. Please join me in praying for her strength, healing, and for a full recovery.”

Carol Miller has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Evan Jenkins. Before joining Congress, she was part of the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1950 and currently residing in Huntington at age 72, Miller graduated from Columbia College in South Carolina with a BA degree in 1972.
