Senator Chris Rose, a public official from West Virginia, has recently used his social media platform to address several political issues and endorse candidates ahead of the state’s primary elections.

On May 1, 2026, Senator Rose criticized fellow politician Tom Takubo in a post that stated: “Campaign season is heating up in WV! RINOs lie about their voting records. None worse than Tom Takubo: backing transgender drugs for kids, abortion & men in women’s sports, showers & locker rooms. We need true conservatives for WV values! Vote CHRIS PRITT for Senate!”.

Two days later, on May 2, 2026, Senator Rose issued an endorsement for Toby Heaney’s campaign for the West Virginia State Senate District 2. In his post he wrote: “Proud to endorse combat veteran & small business owner Toby Heaney for WV State Senate District 2! Toby will fight for our coal miners, energy independence, 2A rights, lower taxes & America First values. True conservative leadership for West Virginia. Vote May 12!”.

Most recently, on May 4, 2026, Senator Rose voiced support for the SAVE Act and called on the U.S. Senate to take action: “I strongly support the SAVE Act, proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections. It’s been 82 days since the House passed the SAVE Act & the U.S. Senate has failed to pass it. Election integrity is not optional. The Senate must act NOW to secure our elections! #SaveAct”.

Senator Chris Rose’s statements reflect ongoing debates within West Virginia politics over conservative values and election laws as primary season approaches.
