Senator Jim Justice, representing West Virginia, shared several updates and personal messages on his Twitter account in February 2026. His posts highlighted the role of coal in national energy and defense, efforts to support employment initiatives in his home state, and a personal message for Valentine’s Day.

On February 12, 2026, Justice addressed the importance of coal as an energy source and its continued significance under the current administration: “Clean coal has always powered this country forward—lighting our homes, fueling our factories, and sustaining our way of life. Now, under @POTUS, coal will power @DeptofWar, the most powerful military in the world. West Virginia will continue to lead the charge!”

Later that day, he referenced his tenure as Governor of West Virginia and discussed a workforce reintegration initiative: “I proudly created @JobsandHopeWV as Governor because I believe every West Virginian deserves a second chance. I’ve witnessed firsthand the lives it has touched. By securing this funding, we can keep building a brighter future for West Virginia.” Jobs & Hope WV is a program established to help individuals recovering from substance use disorder or facing barriers to employment reenter the workforce through coordinated services such as job training and educational opportunities.

On February 14, 2026, Justice posted a message to his wife: “Happy Valentine’s Day, Cathy. A hundred years later, and we still haven’t run out of ways to make each other laugh. I love you!”

Jim Justice previously served as governor before being elected senator for West Virginia.
