He wrote: “What a story—50 years in the mines and still going strong at 83! Our West Virginia miners are off the charts, and Moe is in a league of her own. Thank you, Moe, for five decades of dedication to the coal industry.”
The following day, March 11, 2026, Senator Justice celebrated receiving recognition in agriculture. He stated: “Big honor to be named the state winner of the @NationalCorn Yield Contest Growing corn is a decades-long tradition in my family—one that I’m now proud to share with my grandkids. It’s truly a labor of love. I’m incredibly grateful for this award!” The National Corn Yield Contest is an annual event recognizing outstanding corn producers across various states.
Later on March 11, Senator Justice addressed public safety concerns by alerting residents about severe weather conditions: “Tornado watch is in effect for parts of West Virginia Please be alert, follow weather updates closely, and stay safe!” Tornado watches are issued when weather conditions indicate possible tornado formation and serve as an early warning for communities to prepare accordingly.
