In a post marking Good Friday, Capito wrote, “On this Good Friday, we reflect on the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the depth of his love for us. Later that day, Capito expressed condolences following a mining incident in West Virginia. She stated: “My heart goes out to the family and friends of West Virginia coal miner, Aaron Warrix, who lost his life in a mining incident this week.
