On November 13, 2025, Capito visited a local development site and wrote, “Last stop of the day at the Inwood Park construction site. This is going to be a fantastic addition to the community and I was honored to have helped secure the funds to make it happen.”
The following day, November 14, 2025, she commemorated a significant anniversary for West Virginia: “Thinking about the @MarshallU community on the 55th anniversary of the Southern Airways Flight 932 crash. Today and every day, we will never forget the 75.” The Southern Airways Flight 932 crash in 1970 remains one of the deadliest sports-related air tragedies in U.S. history, claiming the lives of Marshall University football players, coaches, staff members, and supporters.
On November 15, 2025, Capito celebrated a victory by a state university team: “Amazing win for @WVUWBB last night at @The_Greenbrier! Our girls were fighters! “ The West Virginia University women’s basketball team played their game at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs.
