Streets Division Drop-off Sites Will Be Closed

All Streets to be Plowed March 10, 2023

All City of Madison of Madison streets will be plowed starting at approximately 7:00am on Friday, March 10, 2023. Citywide plowing takes approximately 12 to 14 hours to complete.

Please choose off-street parking options throughout the day on Friday to help with plowing operations. If you must park on the street, you must abide by all posted parking restrictions.

More details about the snowplowing operations can be found in the Snow Plowing Update at www.cityofmadison.com/Winter

Trash & Recycling Collection Will Occur As Scheduled

Trash and recycling collection will occur as scheduled on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Residents with a scheduled pickup day are reminded they should not place their carts in the street gutter for pickup. They should position the carts in their driveway apron or on a cleared area of their terrace. Carts in the street are another obstruction for snowplowing operations.

Due to the snow, collection crews are likely to be running their assigned routes differently today. It is important that residents get their carts out as soon as possible this morning to ensure collection. Please wait until 3:00pm today to report any potentially missed stops. Crews will return on Monday to collect stops that were reported as missed.

Drop Off Sites Closed

The Streets Division drop-off sites are closed today, March 10, 2023. Staff typically assigned to maintaining these sites will instead help with snowplowing operations. Drop-off sites will reopen for their normal winter hours on Monday, March 13, 2023.
