Today, U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee Ranking Member Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) unveiled a report titled, “Biden’s 2024 Environmental Agenda and its Road to Ruin,” which sheds light on the potential consequences of President Biden’s upcoming regulatory agenda. In the report, Capito warns of the detrimental effects that the administration’s environmental rules and regulations could have on various aspects of American society.

Capito expressed her concerns, stating, “Despite clear warnings from American consumers and job creators, and loss after loss in the courts, President Biden is moving full-steam ahead with his crippling, unrealistic environmental agenda in 2024.” She emphasized the adverse impacts that such regulations could have on consumers, energy production, the electric grid, and job security in the United States.

The report, titled “Biden’s 2024 Environmental Agenda and its Road to Ruin,” is divided into five sections, each highlighting different aspects of the potential fallout from the administration’s regulatory agenda. These sections include discussions on the administration's approach to American energy, the cumulative impacts of EPA policies, the financial toll of Biden’s environmental regulations, calling out false claims made by the administration, and the agreement of job creators on the negative effects of these regulations.

Capito's report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the risks associated with President Biden’s environmental agenda. She urges Americans to consider the implications of these regulations on working families, the electric grid's reliability, and the country's energy producers.

The full report can be accessed for further details and insights into the concerns raised by Capito and EPW Republicans regarding the potential impacts of Biden’s regulatory agenda.
