Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito expressed her welcome to Jim Justice, who has joined the U.S. Senate as a representative for West Virginia. Senator Justice's induction follows his tenure as a two-term Governor of West Virginia.

Senator Capito remarked on their past collaboration: “Senator Justice was an outstanding two-term Governor of West Virginia and I am thrilled to welcome him to his next chapter of public service here in the Senate." She highlighted their shared achievements during his governorship, particularly in economic development.

Senator Capito emphasized the significance of Justice's role in shifting the Senate majority to Republicans, which aligns with efforts to support President Trump's agenda. "Together, we can work in tandem to implement the changes that West Virginians demanded for our country at the ballot box in November," she stated.
