On Wednesday, April 9, former South Charleston High School standout Alex Hill’s current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Charleston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at UC Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Lady Jackets Field against Salem Tigers.
