TESTING OPPORTUNITY FOR HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS
Parents of Kanawha County homeschool students in grades 3-8 & 11 may choose for their child to participate in the 2023 WV General Summative Assessment to meet state code requirements for testing while homeschooling. Students in Grades 3 - 8 will complete English Language Arts and Math online assessments during the April 3 - May 25, 2023 test window; Grade 11 students will participate in the SAT School Day Exam on Wednesday, April 17, 2023. To request your student’s participation, parents must contact the school principal or counselor at the school in their local attendance area by February 10, 2023.
