Census Bureau: More women than men in Chesapeake in 2020

Of the 1,783 people living in Chesapeake in 2020, 50.4 percent (899) were women and 49.6 percent (884) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Charleston Leader.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 62. In the 65 and over age range, there were 214 females and 151 males.
