Meet your 2022-23 Mr. and Miss State - JaMarcus "Marco" Williamson and Kori Brown!
Marco is a graduate student aiming for a Master's in Digital Media. He wants to have his own clothing line, production company, and PR firm.
Why did you choose WVSU? "I always wanted to go to an HBCU and I wanted to be the first athlete to get his undergrad from UC and get his Master's from State."
What's your favorite thing about State: "I love Soul Food Wednesday with a passion. It's my favorite day of the week."
A quote to live by: "Thank God, even when things don't go your way."
Kori is a senior Sports Studies major and hopes to become an Athletic Director.
Why did you choose WVSU? "State is all I've known since both my parents went here and I wanted to go to an HBCU!"
What's your favorite thing about State? "The people I've met and the staff."
