Upcoming Speaker Series Event Addresses NIL
The next speaker in the UC MBA Speaker Series will be attorney Paul Saluja, of Saluja Law Offices, PLLC, who will discuss “Name, Image & Likeness” opportunities now permitted by the NCAA and how student athletes can benefit from community engagement.
Name, image, and likeness (also known as NIL) is the term used by the NCAA to refer to a student athlete and the identifiable factors that make them unique. The new rules regarding NIL open up opportunities for many student athletes.
The event will take place on Tuesday, February 21 at noon. Those interested in attending can choose to attend in person in the Erma Byrd Gallery where lunch will be served, or attend online.
